Aviation Merit

Students will dive into the forces of flight and airplane control surfaces using a wind tunnel for an exhilarating hands-on experience with aerodynamics. They'll get up close with historic and modern planes, boosting their fascination with aviation. Plus, they'll design, fly, and customize their own take-home glider, turning their newfound knowledge into a thrilling functional model!

Fee: $30/scout and $14/adult (adults will register upon arrival)

Registration deadline: January 3, 2025

This program will meet all of the requirements for the Scouts BSA: Aviation Merit Badge.

Each group or individual youth must have at least one adult member present with them during the program.  All registrants, and their adult, will also get a wristband to explore the exhibits and rides after the program concludes.
